About me

I am a professional Advanced Dog Trainer & Behaviour Coach, with a background rooted in calm, ethical, welfare‑led practice. My career spans 14+ years in the industry, spending over a decade with the assistance dog charity Canine Partners, where I worked as an Advanced Trainer, Demo Dog handler and Aftercare Instructor. Here, I was supporting dogs and their handlers through structured, progressive training programmes. I also completed an internship with a leading Assistance Dog charity in the United States, and gained further hands‑on experience working within a local dog training school.

Alongside my training work, I serve as an Assessor for the Assistance Dog Assessment Association (ADAA), carrying out Access Tests to ensure partnerships are confident, capable, and ready for public‑access environments.

My wider experience includes volunteering with the RSPCA, Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind and several rescue centres in Ireland. Travelling extensively has shaped my understanding of canine welfare and strengthened my commitment to compassionate, evidence‑based training.

My work is centred on helping dogs and their families find steadiness, clarity, and confidence together. I support puppies, adolescents, and adult dogs with everyday skills and behaviour, with a consistent emphasis on calm and confidence, for both dog and owner.
